[end of the summer crazies]

Hi everyone!!!

This month has been INSANE! Why do we try to cram every bit of our summer fun into the last month??? LOL

Ryen is on the Oxford Junior Wildcat football team. He is doing great and having a blast! He got his official "football nickname" tonight. The coach was calling his name and mispronounced it. Ryen was correcting him again and they started joking around. Coach said, "DeVgood, DeVogue, De Voo Voo....Hey, we'll just call you VooDoo because you got charm and you will be our secret weapon." Needless to say it was a momumental moment with the man folk in our home. A rite of passage per say.

Cady and Lauren made the pre-competitive dance team at their studio and are just doing amazing! I can't believe how much they have improved over the summer.

6 more days until school starts.........I am sad to leave the warm weather behind and the fun times hanging out with my family BUT the thought of having 5 UNINTERRUPTED hours is sounding pretty devine.

I think having a "spokesmodel" would be a perfect way to promote my business. Of course, I am not talking about the handsome man next to the car (I already own him ~ LOL) but the VW itself! I saw this when we were in Florida and said, "I need one of these for my work vehicle!"

[my heart was home]

There are no words to explain the deep contentment that fills my soul when I am on beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. My heart soars there, my dreams take flight and all my anxieties and worries fade away.

The day Bruce and I arrived in our hotel room, I took a long, deep breath and savored the aroma of sea as it filled my lungs. My heart giggled with delight as the warmth of the sun kissed my cheeks and as I opened my eyes I saw the white sandy beach extending its great arms and call to me "Your home!!"

Sarah was amazing to work with........a natural model, beautiful eyes, great hair, and a fun spirit! I would take pictures of her anytime!!










Sarah, I wish you the best senior year possible!! You are an incredible girl and I know your future is going to be bright! You are super smart and talented . . . follow your dreams!

I am off to FLORIDA to record a precious time in the life of my dear friend Mary!! She gave birth to a beautiful baby girl and I get to do her first photo session. :)

I will be out of the office until Monday, July 21st. All emails and phone calls will be answered as soon as I can when I return.

Oh, did I mention that I am bringing my hubby but the kids are not coming! Though I will miss my little angels dearly, I am looking forward to our first trip away together in over 8 years. I am feeling all giddy inside!!! Love that man! Suppose that is why I said "I do!"

I just got back from my weekend photography workshop. I learned a ton this weekend!! Two of the girls stayed at our house and they spent a ton of time teaching me photoshop and studio light tricks.Thank you Julie and Deanna, I am so glad I met you two and can't wait to get together with you again. And a big thank you to Skye for hostessing this workshop!

I am done with my Portfolio Building and am SO excited to get my business growing. SO, I have decided to have a summer business building special!!

Yesterday, I took Ryen to get his hair cut and the girls decided they wanted their's cut too. Lauren had about 4 inches taken off and Cady about 8 inches! I was a little hestitant but they look adorable!!!! Can you tell Ryen was thrilled to have his picture taken?
